The Sanifrutta plums come from a cultivation area located between 300 and 550 meters above sea level and are of Piedmontese origin.
The remaining 10% of production is to be divided between Lazio, the Latina area, and Emilia Romagna. The mainly cultivated variety is the Angeleno (black), harvested from the beginning of September. The 10% of the species is instead made up of the TC Sun (yellow) variety, harvested from mid-August.
